205 - The Gardener and the Dog

The dog of a gardener had fallen down in a well.

Trying to save him, the gardener descended too.

Believing the dog that he was going down to sink him more, he turned and bit him.

The gardener, suffering with the wound, went out again of the well, saying:

"It is very well happened to me; who was calling me to save an animal that wanted to commit suicide?"

When you meet in danger or need, do not wound the hand that comes in your help.
